Nikki Khiran - On Elegance, Fashion And Nigeria's Wasted Generation

Inside

Inside Glamsquad Magazine Dec/Jan 2021 NikkI Khiran: On Elegance, Fashion & Nigeria’s Wasted Generation 62 HEALTH 56 Solumkolia Obi-Anazodo SURVIVING CANCER & PASSION FOR HELPING Nimata Tejani On why she held a party in lockdown, to celebrate weight loss A lot has happened since our last edition. The world is on the verge of something that no one can fathom. From the ousting of Donald Trump out of the White House to the #EndSARS movement in Nigeria and the Covid -19 Pandemic, we are thrust daily in directions uncharted. As a magazine, our focus on our primary constituency, which is fashion, celebrity and entertainment is sacrosanct. Thus, irrespective of the direction the world is hurtling, we remain committed in the way we package our stories. Consequently, we have featured snippets of what has been happening around the world, with our #EndSARS tribute, a pictorial on the Day Nigerian youths declared ‘Enough is Enough!’ PP. 64 . Also, our pictorial contribution on the outgoing and incoming American First Ladies. ‘Between Melania Trump and Dr Jill Biden, a tale of two first ladies.’ PP. 68 On our cover, we have the irrepressible Nikki Khiran, talented designer, philanthropist and feisty feminist. Nikki shares her philosophy and inspiration behind her bohemian designs-an exciting read. It gives me great pleasure to announce, that starting from February this year, Glamsquad will unveil its editorial board, rtaking responsibility for paackaing every edition of the Glamsquad. I am so looking forward to the next edition of the magazine. Without much ado I want to welcome you to 2021 and our package for December / January. This is our last bimonthly edition,, our monthly package will debut from February. Enjoy! R .
